Before the activity
Did you know that beavers can smell scents in the water? Or that they can build huts that are two meters high? Or almost 1 km long?
At dusk, while the sun sinks behind the treetops, we paddle out on a beaver safari in a canoe. It is in the evening under the protection of the long shadows of the trees that the beaver is most active.
We first paddle out to our wilderness camp where we build a fire over which we make coffee while our guide tells us about the beaver and its history, while at the same time we get to taste freshly caught, smoked whitefish in flat bread.
Then we get back into the canoes and travel as noiselessly as possible over the calm waters of the Hösthån, slowly making our way as close as we can to the beaver huts.

Good to bring
Good things to bring are binoculars, a seat pad and clothes according to the weather.

- Own transport required.
- In case of persistent rain or stormy weather, the tour will be cancelled, you will then be contacted.

- Payment is made to the guide on site. Cash or via Swish.
